On a PC, open a browser and visit www.linkedin.com. Do not start from unknown archives or “cracked desktop clients”.

Suggested path: load the official homepage on a stable network → sign in with your own email on the official page → bookmark the official URL. Login, verification, and two-step checks should only appear on linkedin.com.

If the layout looks wrong, the certificate warns you, or a site asks you to download an EXE, close the tab and start again from the official domain.
